Purification Technician

Eurofins Genomics is looking for a DNA Purification Technician I/II to join our oligonucleotide manufacturing team in Louisville, KY, which operates around the clock. You'll be assigned to one shift as your regular, ongoing schedule — no rotating shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting purification and post-purification workflows.This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to develop technical laboratory skills. We're looking for someone who is organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced production environment, while also being a great team player. Duties and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs and manager discretion; any additional tasks may be assigned as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct post-synthesis processing, including cleavage, deprotection, drying, and formulation of oligonucleotide products.Perform oligonucleotide purification processes including HPLC purification, PAGE, desalting, and other purification techniques.Adhere to purification and post-purification processes according to approved work instructions.Prepare buffers and laboratory solutions.Complete batch records and production documentation accurately.Use our proprietary LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) for daily work, order tracking, and documentationOperate, monitor, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and production equipment.Troubleshoot minor process and equipment issues and escalate concerns when necessary.Maintain an organized, clean, and 5S-compliant workspace.Follow all safety and regulatory requirements, including proper PPE and hazardous materials handlingDemonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and dependable attendanceComplete required training programs, including annual RCRA awareness trainingTake on additional duties and tasks as assigned based on business needs
