The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.Position SummaryThe Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for leading strategic and brand plan development and implementation, innovation launch plan development, and monitoring for North American Distillers American Whiskey Portfolio (excluding Skrewball). This role will exhibit a general manager mindset and will be responsible for leading key projects that will aim to achieve two critical goals: a) build brand equity and b) drive brand performance through long-term profitable growth.Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities- Brand Strategy and ExecutionDrive the execution of Jefferson's Brand & Commercial/Shopper strategy.Execute the brand's Big Idea through innovative, shopper-centric programs and assets.Collaborate with the Brand Portfolio Director to establish a cohesive Master Brand Identity for all marketing channels.- Commercial Planning and ExecutionLead the creation and deployment of essential tools and resources including AOP, playbooks, and budgets.Develop and execute promotional campaigns and programs.Define and implement the brand's commercial strategy, covering pricing, channel strategy, market prioritization, and resource allocation.Set actionable benchmarks for Jefferson's within the American whiskeys portfolio and competitive landscape.- Brand ManagementManage A&P budgets.Lead agency in the development of the brands "trial" driving programming in both the on and off premise.Development brands approach to partnership oriented consumer engagement.Track brand performance and adapt strategies to optimize outcomes.- InnovationDevelop shopper-facing tools and programs (if applicable).Assist Brand Director in research for whiskey trends for future innovation projects.Required ExperienceBachelor's degree (or equivalent); MBA or advanced degree preferable.8+ years of experience working in brand management with a focus on commercial/shopper marketing; Bev Alc marketing, field marketing, and/or sales experience.Experience managing, deploying, and executing shopper facing programming across multiple channels and sales divisions.Good understanding of CPG space, cross channel shopper marketing (Liquor, Grocery, etc).Must be able to influence teams.Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and executive presentation skills.This position may travel up to 25% of the time.When you join Pernod Ricard, you'll experience a workplace that is rich in heritage, driven by our iconic brands and a long-standing commitment to sustainability, safety, and giving back to the people and communities where we work.
