Data Entry Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. In this role, you will be engaged in a variety of tasks, mainly revolving around data entry and the processing of purchase orders. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and proficiency in computer data entry are paramount.Responsibilities: Efficiently process and enter purchase orders into our internal system Accurately maintain customer records in our database Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required Perform data entry tasks, including numeric data entry, with high accuracy and speed Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure all data entry tasks are completed as required Use your data entry skills to contribute to the team's objectives and goals Ensure all customer data is kept confidential and secure Assist in other administrative tasks as directed by the management. Requirements Must possess excellent skills in processing purchases. Proficient in computer data entry. Proven experience in data entry. Ability to perform numeric data entry. Demonstrated ability to perform data entry tasks effectively and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
