Where you will be responsible for managing an end-to-end partner relationship process to maximize business partner performance and provide great service to all external and internal stakeholders. You will also manage all current and future external partners that provide services related to IBD, including but not limited to Hub partners, Co-Pay partners, non-commercial pharmacy partners, and specialty pharmacies (SPs) contracted for services. As the Director, IBD Patient Access Operations you will be responsible for the overall program management and operational oversight of services provided by vendor partnersHow you will contribute:Lead a team to manage a group of vendors that provide services to Takeda U.S. Patient Services in support of our IBD patients, with full accountability for program operations, budget management, external partner relationships, and contracting.Serve as the primary contact for all IBD service providers to ensure strong relationships and vendor operations aligned with Takeda’s values.Coordinate with Data Aggregator partners, IT, Market Access and Commercial Operations teams to negotiate and implement data feeds from customers as defined in the specific agreements. Liaise with project leaders on specific projects to maintain and improve data quality.Serve as the IBD Patient Services Operations subject matter expert (SME) to internal partners and attend business meetings as necessary to educate stakeholders about Patient Services programsWork in close collaboration with Franchise leads to deliver results on departmental goalsWork with numerous cross-functional internal teams to facilitate and optimize patient access to therapy and customer service. Work in a highly visible environment; hire and manage a strong team of individuals to deliver on goals establish by the Department head.Deliver insights using business partner data that support Business Functions. Identify possible improvements and automation to streamline reporting and data managementParticipate in strategic decision-making with cross-functional business leads to ensure alignment of prioritiesCoordinate and strategize with internal and external stakeholders to execute data and services agreements as specified in customer contractsMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or a Business-related discipline required; master’s degree preferred12+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or a related field in the pharmaceutical industry (pharma manufacturer, pharmacy, or PBM) is requiredExtensive CRM and/or ERP experience, including requirements for external data feeds/integration and associated reporting required.Proven track record of building effective working relationships with internal and external business stakeholdersSkill with developing statements of work and key performance indicatorsFlexible and adaptable in handling change and competing prioritiesAbility to manage multiple projects and succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentProficiency in data analysis and reporting in Excel is requiredExperience in Patient Services, Specialty Pharmacy operations, or Hub management services are a plusPharmaceutical reimbursement experience preferredAbility to multi-task, plan and organize work streams, and problem solve effectively while working in a team environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and execute changes, and manage other individuals Individual must possess and portray strong emotional resilienceManagement experience, leadership skills, and ability to execute high-level ideas on an individual basisIndividual must possess extraordinary positive attitude, exceptional listening skills, and strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive informationExcellent oral and written communication skillsReliable, conscientious, and responsibleAble to manage time and balance prioritiesHighly motivated, shows initiative, is proactive and able to work within a teamAbility to present in front of a groupMore about us:At Takeda, we are transforming patient care through the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals and best in class patient support programs. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives.
