Description:

perform majority of assembly of different types of machines including standard, special, and prototype

Read assembly instructions, blueprints, or assembly layouts

Assemble machines/units to current assembly procedures, layouts and parts lists

Work with gearboxes, spools, spindles, etc.

Use of hand and power tools (air or electric powered) for assembly process

perform machine setup and installation when necessary

Completes required machine and departmental paperwork for each unit/machine assembled

Assist and train other team member

Perform dismantling of machines for certain projects
