Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleThe Regional Vice President, Custom Network Implementation will be responsible for executing on our custom networks strategy through implementing tailored network solutions for our customers. This role leads a regional team that owns and drives network builds, infrastructure build, network optimization, strategic investments, and aligns standards and strategy for the fiber-based custom network solutions.We are hiring for the Central region.The Main Responsibilities
Responsible for management of all custom network implementations in region from planning, forecasting, scope validation, date management, milestone management, financial management, supplier management and internal/external communications
Meet with stakeholders and internal customers to develop, align, and review operational targets and projects, measure end-to-end performance, assess all opportunities, and investigate system and process improvements, identify and communicate business value.
Responsible for capacity resolution including the tactical planning and solutions engineering for custom network orders requiring additions or augments to the custom network
Responsible for all market expansions in support of Sales or Network Planning to support large custom network building programs
Ensure proper network commissioning and testing including logical configurations, testing, and acceptance of all new and augments of all existing custom network components
Accountable for outside plant construction services including management of all building adds, outside plant augments, building access agreements, right-of-way and third-party asset acquisition, and fiber inventory of the custom network
Drive tactical situation resolution requiring daily involvement in tactical operations and leading people management responsibilities.
Accountable for meeting all financial targets including regional CAPEX and OPEX budgets, P&L and driving overall cost efficiencies.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, General or Business; Master's degree preferred.
12+ years of experience in network architecture, design, implementation or infrastructure, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Preference will be given to candidates living in the defined regional alignments.
Proven record of leading successful fiber network deployment initiatives, driving revenue growth, and delivering value to clients.
Deep understanding of network technologies, architectures, and emerging technologies.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate client needs into innovative custom solutions.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment, with agility, resilience, and a customer-centric mindset.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
PMP certification preferred.
