Floor Tech, Layer 1 Level 3

Perform repetitive tasks.

Maintain clean work area.

Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules.

Take direction and respond to supervision.

Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.

Fill in during staff shortages, such as in custodial, recycle, or maintenance.

Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.

Use proper personal protective equipment that is required for assigned tasks.

Present a professional appearance and conduct.

Understands customer service and satisfaction.

Understand reporting systems, and of the environment.

Operates motorized cleaning equipment.

Maintains daily upkeep of assigned area.

Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors: tile, carpet , and brick flooring

Complete work assignments in a timely manner.

Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.

Use and maintain equipment properly.

Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely

Observe safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs “wet floor”

Ability to work without normal supervision

Reports safety hazards as appropriate

Education and/ or Experience No education requirement 6 mo-1 year experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team. Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment. Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
