THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN WICHITA, KSJob Description:· Complete modifications on corporate aircraft to turn into military aircraft.· Knowledge of mechanical aircraft systems.· Knowledge of mechanical aircraft systems.· Read and interpret engineering documents.· Knowledge operating ground support equipment.· Knowledge of safety and operating procedures for power-on aircraft.· Knowledge of electrical aircraft systems.· Read and understand system schematics.· Operate ground support equipment to simulate ground and flight conditions.· Adjust electrical switches per applicable systems.· Knowledge of safety and operating procedures for power-on aircraft.· You are able to obtain and renew certifications / CFC certification.· You are able to troubleshoot, modify, and/or repair mechanical aircraft systems and airframe.· Environment: Flight Test Center: Non-Climate Controlled HangarQualifications:· 5 years of experience working on aircraft final assembly and system installations.· 5 years of aircraft structures modification experience.· Must provide own tools.Pay:· $37/hour – $44/hour· Pay is based on years of experience.Work Schedule:· Must be open to 1st, 2nd, and weekend Shift.· 1st Shift: Monday – Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM· 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday: 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM· Weekend: Friday – Sunday: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PMPlacement Options:· Contract (5 months)About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
