We are looking for a Roadway Design Engineer (EIT) in Kansas City, KS. Civil Engineer EIT with 2 years of experience with transportation projects and managing KDOT and KTA design projects.The Impact You'll MakeApply knowledge of engineering to assist in the design freeways, interchanges, roadways, streets, intersections, roundabouts, and other transportation-related infrastructure.Perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.Work with the project team to develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.Methodical approach to problem solving and completing project requirements, while working as part of a team or independently.Clearly communicate through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchange.Perform and coordinate plan reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.May conduct site investigations, as well as other responsibilities associated with this position.Assist project engineers and project managers with assignments as needed.
