Parts Expeditor

The Expediter position is responsible for creating, tracking, maintenance and expediting of purchase orders and kit production orders for Source 1.  Must work closely with Source 1 Account Representatives, buyers, schedulers, outside suppliers and Ducted Systems plants. Specific duties include:Working and tracking expedite requests from account reps through the Source 1 on-line expedite report.  Adhering to all Source 1 policies and service levels regarding the online expedite reportMaintaining accurate and timely purchase order dataInterfacing with both outside suppliers and UPG plant personnel during the expedite process to ensure timely delivery of productCreating purchase ordersFaxing/emailing purchase orders to appropriate suppliersAssisting in resolution of receiving and accounting issuesOther duties as assigned
