Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Construction Laborers (Roadside work) for an immediate start in Eudora, KS

IMMEDIATE START!

PAY: $20-$25hr/hour

HOURS: 40 hours/ week

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: Temp to hire

CONSTRUCTION LABORERER JOB DESCRIPTION:

General Laborer Responsibilities:

Ensuring that signs or markings meet clients' specifications in terms of spelling, font, size, layout, and placement etc.

Loading and transporting signs, tools, and materials to the location safely.

Preparing the site for installation by removing old signage, preparing the surface or structure, and securing the electrical connections.

Following and reading plans for the correct placement of signs or markings.

Ensuring the effective measurement, placement, connection and placement of the items you are installing or removing.

Mounting and installing the signs or markings in accordance with all safety protocols.

Clearing debris and materials from the site after each installation.

Performing maintenance and repairs to signs, as needed.

Operating and maintaining the tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Sign Installer

QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION LABORER:

Requirements:

Two (2) years’ experience is preferred (not required, we can and will train qualified personnel)

High school diploma or GED.

Valid commercial driver's license and a clean driving record.

The ability to work with others on our team and inspectors on the projects on a daily basis.

The ability to operate hand and power tools.

The ability to work in harsh weather conditions.

May require long hours on occasion

Must have PPE including steel toe work boots, hard hat, face mask, gloves, high visibility vest, and protective eyeglasses.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION LABORER:

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have reliable transportation to the job site

Subject to pre-employment drug screen/background check
