Apex Systems is looking for Project Managers for an immediate opportunity in Des Moines IA, Minneapolis MN, Phoenix AZ, Charlotte NC, or St. Louis MO. Experience Required:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience as a business side PM
  • Must understand the balance between the Art vs science of a PM
  • Experience in Virtual facilitation as role will be 100% remote
  • Experience engaging with executive leadership
  • Proven success leading business driven process related projects ideally in a financial services environment
  • Excellent soft skills
  • Familiarity with PMI Methodology - Wells uses a homegrown methodology built off of PMI - Homegrown due to added regulations (this PM will need to be nimble and know when to flex on methodology to "get it done")
Scope of Work:
  • Support client effort that is changing processes and approaches
  • Business Side projects, not technology
  • People need to be fluid, not rigid and can work off ambiguities
  • Will change how the client engages their customer and moves them more towards digital environment
  • Effort is addressing workforce changes, responsibilities, all the way down to job titles
  • Will be dealing with high level execs who are brand new to role, PM must know when to push and get creative navigating towards solutions
