Product Management Director- Home Lending Servicing

In this role, you will:
Lead overall product strategy for Home Lending Servicing.
Drive the development of customer and/or market insights to influence the Home Lending technology product strategy.
Partner with business and technology leaders to develop a cohesive product strategy across numerous business areas and technology products.
Lead a team of Product Management Managers, Product Managers and Product Owners to develop technology product roadmaps across numerous technology products that support Home Lending.
Develop and coach team members to establish an industry leading product management competency.
Develop and manage industry partner product relationships.
Negotiate vendor contracts and manages vendor relationships.
Manage product strategy relationships with executive business and technology owners
Coordinate/negotiate overall strategy and objectives in conjunction with many diverse businesses and key business partners across WF.
Directly accountable for product performance and value recognition of technology investments.
Lead efforts to obtain and analyze customer/competitive information and market research related to development and testing of services/products; distribution strategies and innovations, end-to-end technical/systems and customer requirements, and performance measurement techniques; and managing enterprise-wide efforts to align and coordinate distribution channels, systems requirements, product introduction, marketing, training, and ongoing product/service management.
Manage and develop specialized teams of managers and professional individual contributors
Analyze customer and results-oriented information
Perform market research related to development and testing of services and products
Identify opportunities and strategies for establishing pricing policies, distribution strategies, technical systems, and customer requirements
Manage companywide efforts to align and coordinate distribution channels, systems requirements, product introduction, marketing, training, and ongoing product and service management
Lead teams by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex, unique, and critical product line issues to meet deliverables
Interpret and develop range of new products or product lines and product life cycle management for functions with moderate to high complexity and risk
Collaborate with and influence stakeholders, subject matter experts, project managers, and experienced leaders
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Product Management
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Product Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
Deep understanding of the mortgage ecosystem, including external services, technology solutions and regulations
Proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence outcomes at all levels across enterprise functions.
Strong project planning with demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams’ though significant change.
Experience building relationships across lines of businesses, influencing partners, as well as providing credible and effective challenge.
Proven success recruiting, inspiring, developing, coaching, and motivating team members through balanced leadership with a focus on team member engagement and retention and performance management.
Ability to combine a perpetual interest in learning, and deep knowledge of industry best practices/standards to build a world class organization.
Ability and willingness to travel.
Experienced leading and managing transformation efforts and demonstrated ability to lead the execution of large and complex initiatives within a matrixed environment
Effectively communicate and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, competing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
Ability to work in conjunction with functional partners to gain consensus on priorities and features needed to implement a project successfully.
Experience in the banking and financial sectors, particularly related to Home Lending, Credit, and/or Risk Management
Experience in Product Management, Business Transformation, Data, Analytics, Reporting, Management Consulting, Project Management, Strategic Planning, or Technology experience.
Agile Product Owner Experience and knowledge of Agile strategy, development methodologies, and tools working directly with Technology teams in managing agile delivery of a product.
Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives.
Ability to understand technical policy requirements to help support the implementation of data management policies across all parts of the business.
Strategic leadership skills with the ability to piece together complex matrixed organizations and collaborate/influence horizontally across technology, agile teams and business partners

This position requires compliance with all mortgages regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo’s compliance policies related to these requirements. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.

$173,300 to 359,900 annually
