Data Engineer

Description Job Title: Senior Data EngineerLocation: Des MoinesResponsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Azure Data Factory.Translate business requirements into technical solutions.Implement and optimize data warehouse solutions in Azure SQL Database.Automate manual processes using Excel and VBA.Utilize accounting knowledge to support financial data analysis.Collaborate with stakeholders and adapt to changing project requirements.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Accounting.10 years of experience in SQL, data warehousing, and cloud technologies.Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Azure services.Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and formulas.Knowledge of accounting principles; experience in annuity or life insurance is a plus.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.Familiarity with RESTful API development.Previous consulting experience is beneficial.Requirements Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, REST API, Microsoft Excel, Accounting procedures, Data Modeling, Relational Database Design Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
