DescriptionMusco Sports Lighting is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the consolidations and reporting functions of our finance team, including supporting transaction activities, and implementation of accounting/financial procedures and policies. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working through monthly consolidations processes as well as a strong understanding of foreign currency.Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Complete monthly consolidations process, working closely with accounting team members to coordinate supporting processes and communicate key information to ensure accuracy and consistency. Strong understanding of foreign currency. Prepare monthly eliminations between legal entities. Support monthly and annual reporting needs from management, audit, and other 3rd parties, such as banks. This involves creating reports in D365 Finance & Operations, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerBI tools. Support design and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency in accounting methods and reporting across all legal entities. Actively improve processes to drive efficiency and quality across activities. Develop and maintain an understanding of internal systems (D365, Scoreboard & Vantage). Supporting international accounting with various analysis and completing transactions. Support review of projects and project accounting. Ensure all budgets and finance processes align with company goals. Preparation of schedules and supporting documentation for annual audit. Other duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and a minimum of 5 years working in related roles.Job Specifications: Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work with a variety of individuals at all levels both internally and externally. Proficient with software to include Excel (at an expert level), Power Point, Word and e-mail programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of financial systems and data structures to enable accurate and timely reporting.
