Diesel Mechanic 1st Shift

Monday through Friday 1st shift mechanic needed ASAP

Hours are 7am til 5pm Monday through Friday, with the possibility for overtime

JOB DUTIES:

· Responsible for performing all needed inspections and repairs to tractors and trailers within given timelines.

· Analyze malfunctions/Perform preventive maintenance of equipment.

· Repair, replace and adjust necessary units and parts.

· Performs general cleaning of work areas and maintenance areas.

· Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be 18 years in age or older.

· Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

· Communicate effectively with drivers and dispatch to work as a team.

· Experience as a diesel mechanic is preferred.

· Must maintain a valid driver’s license. Class A CDL preferred but not required. NOTE: If you are CDL-qualified mechanic, you will be subject to a DOT physical examination as well as random drug testing per FMCSA

· Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.

Pay: Based on Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.50 - $47.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
