Job DescriptionThe 5th Judicial District’s Polk County Clerk of Court has an immediate opening for a JudicialSpecialist 2 in the Payment Division.The starting salary for new State of Iowa Judicial employees is expected to be at the base of the pay range.The pay range is $38,667.20 - $59,571.20Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00A – 4:30PTo Apply: Candidates will need to submit a cover letter and resume. Excellent communication skills and maintain a pleasant demeanor
Strong computer applications and skills including video conferencing (GTM/Zoom) including 10 key experience.

Ability to process large amounts of cash and checks efficiently, counting back change, and working with financial reports. Background in accounting, math, or bookkeeping is beneficial but not required
Under the direct supervision of the Clerk of Court, candidates will have the desire to learn the complexities of our court case processing system using our statewide Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Two (2) years of professional office experience with one (1) year of the experience involving customer service. At the discretion of the appointing authority additional years of experience may be substituted for the required post high school education.Education cannot be substituted for customer service experience.
