Expedition Wealth Management is a financial services firm in West Des Moines that focuses on safety and simplicity for our clients. We are growing quickly and looking for great people to add to our team.
What We Are Looking For
The Relationship Manager serves as our client's primary point of contact, managing and nurturing client relationships to help ensure their financial goals are met. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and proactive communication to maintain and enhance client satisfaction and overall experience.
This position requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who can manage their time and prioritize their workload in a fast-paced environment. The Relationship Manager must possess the ability to provide a friendly and accommodating environment for our clientele in the office and at client functions. Our office is open Monday - Saturday and a typical work week can range from 40-50 hours per week, with an average of around 45. This role requires you to work 1-2 Saturdays per quarter, with typical Saturday hours of 9 AM-1 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
o Serve as clients' main point of contact, addressing their needs and concerns.
o Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
o Collaborate with our Financial Advisors to onboard new clients
Customer Service:
o Ensure timely and accurate responses to client inquiries and requests.
o Prepare and process paperwork for new accounts, transfers, client meetings, and other client transactions.
o Coordinate with internal departments to resolve client issues and deliver superior service.
o Maintain detailed records of client interactions and transactions.
Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with financial advisors and other team members to provide comprehensive client support.
o Share insights and strategies with team members to enhance overall service quality.
o Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm.
Compliance and Risk Management:
o Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
o Ensure all client interactions are documented according to firm policies.
o Maintain and organize client files and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Life Insurance license and FINRA Series 6 or 7 license strongly preferred or ability to obtain within six months of employment
Proven experience in a client-facing role within the financial services industry
Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000, based on experience
