We are building the intersection of digital and experiential marketing to help achieve our mission.What You'll Do:The Senior Content Manager reports to the Senior Director of Strategy and Digital Operations and will work with a team of agencies, curators, and freelance writers to develop and execute our digital content strategy. This role is a vital part of creating content across our entire ecosystem.As Senior Content Manager, you will leverage your experience as an imaginative storyteller who has a true love for all aspects of design and work closely with cross-functional teams and agencies to develop and implement, thoughtful, relevant, and trending digital content that will help Pantone reach its strategic business objectives.You will be a hands-on and involved creative leader, exhibiting a high level of leadership in communication, emotional intelligence, and have a strong business-driving acumen. You will use your extensive design and content expertise as you influence other cross-functional leaders and team members. You will be responsible for developing and executing thought-provoking content that generates demand for Pantone products and services, enhances brand awareness and engagement while safeguarding our beloved brand, and deepen our understanding and relationships with our customers. You are analytical, and you take a data-driven, results-oriented approach to storytelling. With the guidance of the Senior Director of Strategy, you will turn commercial and marketing priorities into compelling and engaging brand-right stories.This position is responsible for (1) developing and executing frameworks and content strategies that fuel both short-term and sustainable long-term growth, (2) working closely with Pantone’s product and regional teams to create content that drives growth in global markets, and (3) monitoring and analyzing content performance to serve as a feedback loop for future content creation.WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:

Collaborate and execute the content development strategy while maintaining the content calendar to ensure a steady stream of thought leadership, case studies, press releases, web copy, and blog posts that inform and delight Pantone audiences

Monitor and analyze Content performance, using data and insights to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for continuous improvement and facilitating data-driven decision-making. Work closely with data teams to develop comprehensive dashboards and reporting frameworks to track the effectiveness of customer initiatives across web, marketing, and digital. Partner with e-commerce teams to translate customer trends, insights, and segmentation data into actionable content strategies

Collaborate with internal (business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, subject matter experts) and external teams (content writers, agencies) to drive the strategy, planning, and execution of initiatives, taking a strategic role in owning and driving content to produce results

Collaborate with visual, design, and digital marketing resources to facilitate smooth handoffs from the content development teams to content activation teams

Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Channel, Regional, Product) to articulate Pantone’s brand, support strategic initiatives, and identify new content initiatives and improvement areas that will drive optimal engagement and conversion rates across various digital platforms and touchpoints

Act as a final prooer and editor of content meant for external consumption, ensuring consistency in quality, depth, and confidence in writing style, brand-level tone of voice, and SEO effectiveness

Executing content development projects as capacity allows (long-form, short-form, video, press releases, case study development, web copy, etc)

Have a finger on the pulse of current culture and stay current with the latest design trends and technologies and provide thought leadership to the organization

YOUR EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:

Fashion, design, or trend experience preferred

At least 6-8 years in a content marketing, content management, and/or content writing role (preferably in fashion, design, or an agency environment)

At least 2-4 years leading other content team members or agencies

Experience with Contentful or other content management systems.

Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field, ideally Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing, or equivalent

Experience in digital transformation a plus

Experience developing and editing long-form thought leadership pieces, short-form blog posts, and technical case studies

Significant experience acting in an editorial and prooing capacity.

An online portfolio of relevant work

Digital-media savvy

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
