Mailroom Assistant

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Mailroom Assistant in ZIONSVILLE, Indiana. This role is within the industry of document handling and management, where you will be extensively involved in processing and organizing various documents related to new business annuities. Responsibilities: Identification, scanning, and indexing of new business annuities documents such as applications, paperwork, checks, and transfer forms. Management of the check register for incoming checks to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Scanning and delivery of checks to the treasury department for processing and deposit. Preparation and processing of outgoing benefit checks to clients, ensuring they are handled with utmost care and accuracy. Maintenance of financial records, specifically archived documents, for retention and destruction purposes. Involvement in the purchasing process for office supplies and other inventory management tasks to ensure smooth operation. Utilization of skills in Document Scanning, Indexing, Annuities, Check Processing, Outgoing Correspondence, Financial Records to perform tasks effectively.
