SHOP WELDER & CADD Detailer/Drafting/Project Manager wanted

53 Year old Company has two job openings; for position of Shop Welder and Office Detailer drafting/project manager

Shop Welder wanted (Mishawaka)

compensation: Hourly pay with advancements depending on skill level

Welder; taking applications

Looking for a full time experienced structural steel or miscellaneous steel fabricator / welder; mig and or tig welding, layout. Must be able to read blue prints and a tape measure. Also important will be able to do simply geometry for laying out railings, stairs etc. Potential for working with carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel and bronze.

Duties will also include welding either with mig or tig welders, operating a forklift, using an overhead crane, drill press, sawing on a band saw, shearing and or punching on 1 of 4 iron workers, plasma cutting, heavy duty cutting with an oxygen/acetylene torch, magnetic drilling, threading anchor bolts. Finishing will include grinding hard wheel or soft wheel and or dual action air sander.

Having the knowledge of a tape measure is required.

Typical hours are currently 7AM to 4:30PM five days a week and (Saturday mornings 6AM to 11AM during busy season on a volunteer basis).

Being on time is very important.

Must take a physical and or drug test

Must have a car and drivers license to come to work.

Office Detailer drafting/project manager

Looking for someone to do part time or full time work in the office based on your skills. Need to have knowledge of project management and ideally skill on Autodesk and the computer. It would be great if you have knowledge of steel stairs, railings and miscellaneous steel and or structural steel.
