Sales Manager

Due to a recent promotion, AZZ has an exciting opportunity for an Outside Sales Manager in our Plymouth, IN, facility. Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales, you will promote and sell galvanizing services into the steel fabrication market.Duties and ResponsibilitiesRegional travel with occasional cross region travel calling on current and prospective customersOrganize, plan, and execute daily/weekly sales activity within territoryFollow up on sales leads and make cold calls to prospective customersAnswer customers’ questions about services, prices, and turn timesRecommend services to customers based on customers' needs and interestsContact established and prospective customers to demonstrate offerings, explain product features, and solicit ordersQuote prices, negotiate turn times, and delivery datesWork with customers on project bidsIdentify prospective customers through leading edge research tools and leadsParticipate in trade organizations and attend trade shows/conferences, as neededMonitor market conditions and product innovationsCollaborate with colleagues to exchange information on selling strategies and market information
