Purification Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following Lead team, schedule, and train employees in client environmentConduct performance reviews, manage training records, interview candidates, and support succession planning.Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operationsFoster morale and teamworkExecution of discovery stage automated purifications using a variety of chromatographic techniques, tangential flow filtration (TFF) and AKTA systemCharacterization of protein solutions using Agilent HPLC, SDS-PageResponsible for timely delivery & documentation of assay data and provide support for authoring study reportsGeneral Lab tasks will include: maintaining inventories, preparing solutions and buffer-based protein purification, AKTA system cleaning and cleaning in place, performing routine analytical measurements (pH, UV-Vis, HPLC), maintaining an electronic lab notebook
