Description We're Seeking a Remote Customer Service/Call Center Specialist Sharpen your skills as aCustomer Representative Specialist in the growing Public Sector industrythrough this opportunity at Robert Half. This is a long-term contract /temporary Customer Service Representative position lasting for 8 months. Thisrole would be fully remote, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, paying $17 per hour. Your responsibilities inthis role Answer phone calls and work with constituents to assist with data entry of the constituents' applications are completed and submitted. Develop and maintain strong understating of application documentation, policies, and procedures. Handle high volume of incoming telephone calls. Must be comfortable working with technology. Experience working in a previous remote call center role. Performing data entry, entering information into system databases while talking on the phone Deliver outstanding, friendly customer service in a timely fashion. Retrieve and oversee the sending of written business communications.

Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.

Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topic.

Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives.

Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile.

Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way

Requirements - 2+ years' experience with performing in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment preferred

Proven knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

Call Center Customer Service experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office required

Demonstrated experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries

Proficient with diversified computer software and systems

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

A consistently positive approach to your work that is rooted in a businesslike professionalism

Customer service and office administrative skills

Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well

Comfort and confidence when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers
