Lead Salesforce Developer

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Salesforce Developer.

Contract to hire

Must be able to work 3 days onsite

Job Description:

Will be responsible for developing new and supporting and modernizing existing Salesforce based applications. Support fellow Salesforce developer in a lead capacity and support tower governance and operations.

Qualifications:

User Administration

Managing license types, profiles, permission sets, roles, and object permissions.

Email Administration

Configure templates, letterheads, DKIM Keys, and org-wide addresses.

App Configuration

Configure Classic, Lightning, and Connected apps.

Digital Experience Sites (aka Community Sites)

Administration, Experience Builder, Community User/Contact administration, Sites and Domains, Custom URLs

Custom Object Management

Configure fields, page layouts (classic and lightning), tabs, list views, validation rules, picklists, lookup, and master-detail relationships.

Process Automation

Configure approval processes, Flows, Process Builder, workflow actions and rules.

Custom Development

SOQL, Apex Classes and Tests, Visualforce components and pages, Static Resources, Custom Metadata Types, Lightning Web, and Aura Components, SFDX, Salesforce CLI, Scratch Orgs, and Visual Studio Code IDE

Environment Administration

Change Sets, Deployments, Sandboxes, and Org Limits

Settings and Security Administration

Review and proactively manage Release Updates

Understand Company Information (org ID, server instance, license usage).

Configure My Domain (enhanced domains, routing, policies, and auth), MFA/Single-Sign On, certificates, and keys.

Understand object and field accessibility, password policies, session settings, sharing settings, and setup audit trails.

Job Description and Requirements:

8 or more years of experience developing and customizing applications using Salesforce CRM platform including at least 2 years leading a Salesforce development team.

This role is responsible to ensure quality coding across all development efforts related to our Enterprise Salesforce implementations.

In a Tower Lead capacity, the Salesforce Sr. Developer will be the first escalation point for all tower activities including but not limited to Production escalation, representing tower in daily and weekly stand-up meetings, discuss projects and activities for the tower.

As a Tower lead will adopt and oversee DevOps agile process for development and work with the business and IT stakeholders for backlog review and prioritization.

Coordinate with business services and provide guidance during technical review discussions with the stakeholders and users.

Collaborate with Cross Functional team for support of tower activities including but not limited to establishing documentation standards, tower governance process etc.

Support Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with respect to response and resolution of incidents and tickets.

Be on call after hours to provide Prod outage support as needed.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems

Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interactive when online,

Salesforce certification is a major plus.

Ability to work with cross functional teams for creating Enterprise class end to end integrations for salesforce-based applications both on-premises, cloud and hybrid based.

General Comments

The resource needs to be local or willing to be in Indy, 3 days a week.
