We have a wonderful opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with our client in Rosemont.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:

Manage project team members within the PMO
Manage a program of complex, interdependent initiatives
Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure program is aligned with strategic objectives
Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path dependencies

Requirements of the Senior Project Manager:

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or similar; PMP required
7+ years of experience managing complex technology related projects within a diverse business environment
3+ years of experience in a consulting environment
Association/nonprofit experience is ideal
Able to build strong stakeholder relationships
Expertise in PM life cycle based on PMI standards
Expertise across multiple system development methodologies: Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile, Scrum
Demonstrated technical knowledge and understanding of web technologies, OOP, and technology architecture paradigms
Microsoft Office proficiency, including Visio and MS Project
