Structural Engineer

Job Title: Structural EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to work with a team in Des Plaines, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural design, drafting in AutoCAD, and developing construction documents. You will work on a diverse range of projects including building design, forensic engineering, and restoration. This role offers the opportunity to work independently and engage with a variety of project types such as industrial, commercial, residential, and religious buildings.Responsibilities

Complete structural designs and drawings in AutoCAD

Develop construction documents

Meet with clients as needed

Conduct site visits for local projects

Work on drawings, floor plans, and pick up red lines

More responsibilities provided for more experienced candidates

Essential Skills

3-5+ years of experience in structural engineering

Proficiency in AutoCAD

3 years of drafting experience

Experience in structural design, structural analysis, and construction documents

Knowledge of working with concrete, steel, and wood materials
