Security Architect Apex Systems, the Nation's 2nd largest Technical Staffing and Services Firm, has an opening for a Security Architect at a global leader in retail pharmacy for a 6-month contract with a possibility for extension. This candidate will need to be onsite in Deerfield, Il once the client returns to work. Job Description: As an Identity Architect, you will be expected to contribute to a cloud-focused engineering teams in order to deliver end-to-end authentication and authorization transformation solutions. This challenging role requires senior Identity knowledge and experience across many facets of existing on-prem as well as move to the cloud technology. We are looking for a multi-talented professional consultant with deep technical background within the global Identity space, experience in building world-class solutions with strong collaboration skills. Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrable Identity experience in Platform Technologies: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Key Vault, Cosmos DB,
• API Management, ARM templates, and general cloud governance and security mechanisms are required.
• Direct experience in designing and modeling Azure Conditional Access solution
• Experience developing architectures in multiple domains infrastructure, Security, Software architectures and key software components
• Experience with IaaS and PaaS capabilities on cloud platforms
• Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the design and scope of deliverables within a field of expertise
• Able to communicate and present complex issues with preciseness, assurance, and confidence
• Passion for technology and a high technical aptitude
• Demonstrable consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing
• An understanding of modern Azure service offerings is a must.

• 5+ years of enterprise architecture, infrastructure and/or solution delivery experience and a Bachelor of Computer Science
• 3+ years delivering enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
