DISPATCH LOAD PLANER

We are looking for a full time Intermodal in the BEDFORD PARK, IL .

We are only interested in candidates with Intermodal experience.

KEY JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

- Communicate clearly, orally and in writing, with freight forwarders, transportation companies.

- Accurately prepare receiving and shipping documents and other detailed paperwork.

- Coordinate and monitor shipment logistics

- Coordinate and monitor drivers.

- Work closely with all team members in a cooperative manner

REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES & CHARACTERISTICS:

- Strong MS Excel skills.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Organized, detail-oriented and highly self-motivated

- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Able to multi-task and effectively handle competing priorities

- Able to complete tasks and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.

- Able to take direction and learn new things.

- Willing to ask questions.

- Enthusiastic and a positive attitude

Salary will be based on knowledge and experience.
