SKILLED DRIVER / WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE

KANE Construction Group & Assoc, LLC is expanding our Driver / Warehouse

Operations position. Our qualifications are firm, so we appreciate your attention to these qualifications and look forward to hearing from you.

Skilled Driver / Warehouse Operations:

We are seeking someone who is skilled and experienced, who will hold a key role within the company. This candidate will also need the ability to represent a positive and professional manner at all times. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Load and Unload Commercial Carpentry Materials: Knowledge of these materials is a plus. They would include: metal studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings, doors etc. The delivery vehicle and any associated equipment remain clean, tidy, and in good working order. You will need to follow safe lifting practices and help colleagues lift extremely heavy items to avoid injuries.

Oversee Delivery Schedules: As a warehouse-driver you will deliver a variety of items to various locations. You will need to communicate regularly with our carpenters and suppliers to ensure they’re aware of your estimated time of arrival onsite. If there are any hold-ups or traffic incidents, you will need to communicate these delays ahead of time.

Reports Incidents: If there are issues with a delivery or problems with the vehicle, equipment or road incidents, you must relay this information to the office.

Manage Warehouse: You will need to manage and maintain the warehouse, which will include- clean / organize the warehouse, track tools and equipment on our board, light maintenance on equipment / vehicles, take out dumpster, inventory on materials etc.

Manage Paperwork: You will handle the paperwork associated with deliveries, from receipts to confirmation notices. You will need to keep an up-to-date inventory of delivery records to make sure the right items are dispatched to the correct jobsites.

Qualifications :

Solid work history

High school diploma or GED

Class “A” CDL (no air break/semi endorsement required) driving license (ability to drive flatbed w/trailer and enclosed van)

Clean driving record

Ability to do city driving

Ability to lift 75 lbs

Early morning start time ability

Strong organization skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong time management

Adherence to safety

Strong communication skills

Strong motivation and punctuality a must

Knowledge of commercial carpentry materials as listed above-A PLUS

Forklift knowledge
