Experienced HVAC Technician

Blue Frost Heating & Cooling is currently hiring Experienced Residential & Commercial HVAC Technicians to help support our Team. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience maintaining and repairing HVAC systems and must be capable of working independently and with a sense of urgency. We're looking for candidates with a strong work ethic and a proven track record of completing all projects in an accurate manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

-Perform routine maintenance on residential & light commercial equipment

-Troubleshoot and repair all HVAC equipment

-Considered to be a resident expert on all types of equipment (Residential, Commercial, Boilers, Tankless systems, light commercial)

-Ability to learn new equipment and repairs not seen before

-Performs work safely and accurately

-Sales capabilities to offer customers value, added services, etc.

-Minimal call-back rate on service calls

-Other job duties as assigned

QUIALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

-Successful completion of HVAC Trade School

-5+ Years’ Experience

-Light Commercial and Residential Experience

-Must possess EPA Certification (Type I, II, or Universal)

-Acceptable motor vehicle record

-Must be available to work long hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

-Strong work ethic & ability to complete jobs independently & as a Team

Strong communication skills

-Excellent problem-solving skills

-Service Titan Background a plus

-Sales and Estimating skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Individuals may need to climb ladders or crawl in an attic or crawl space as needed to access customers systems. Individual must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. multiple times within any given shift to perform service work. Individual may need to alternate sitting, standing, kneeling, or crawling to be able to perform the service work necessary on a customer’s system.
