Automotive Technician Wanted

Experienced Automotive Technician wanted for an independent automotive repair shop located in South Elgin IL.

Hours needed- Mon-Fri - 8am to 4pm -(1 hour for lunch 12-1pm)- No weekends, we are closed.

Must have working experience of general automotive repair. Brakes, suspension work, fuel pumps, tune ups, alignments, exhaust, Coolant systems, etc. Diagnostics and finding suspension noises are a must.

We are not a tire shop!

We regularly work on Domestic and Asian vehicles- NO European cars. If you like working on vintage cars we get those too.

Must be able to work in a team environment, 6 other technicians. Hourly pay- not book hours plus incentives. Vacation time after first year, 401K available.

Must have your own tools, a valid drivers license, and a valid social security number.

Starting pay will depend on experience; 30 day probationary period. We provide uniforms at our cost if wanted.
