CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Environs, a growing and prominent Lincoln Park custom home designer and builder, is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee on-site construction and project coordination. We design and build single family homes and multi-family mixed use projects for a very discerning clientele and need an individual who can lead the construction process for new project design and construction. Environs is a leader in our market with a long history of winning distinguished awards in the design and construction industries. We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, educated, and intelligent person to join our team.

Job duties include but not limited to:

Oversee day to day construction activities on job-sites

Keep projects on schedule

Develop and update weekly construction schedules for each project

Schedule trades and inspect quality of trade completed work

Ensure projects are built to Environs’ design and quality standards

Review and red line construction drawings for accuracy and completeness

Work closely with the Project Architect, Purchasing Manager, and Interior Designer to ensure the team meets Milestone decision due dates and construction schedule deadlines

Participate in weekly client meetings

Complete projects on time and within budget

90% field/10% office

Report to Director of Construction

Requirements:

Bachelor's (Preferred)

Construction Management Experience: 2 years (Required)

Work Location: In person (Required)

Own Vehicle (Truck preferred)

Driver's License

The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry including site management and possess a related four year degree in architecture, business, construction management, or equivalent.
