WarehousePacker / Parcel Shipping1st Shift

Industry leading bearing wholesaler / manufacturer has an immediate opening on our warehouse team for an experienced associate in our packing / parcel shipping area.

Primary responsibilities include:

Assemble cartons

Review Work Order requirements for understanding

Pack cartons for shipment; label cartons and include required documents

Enter item data to business information systems

Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, lift trucks, etc.

Complete assigned housekeeping and supply restocking tasks

Secondary duties

o Learn / backup UPS, FedEx and DHL parcel system duties

o Learn / backup Order Picker duties

Other general warehouse duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will:

be a motivated team member

possess a high school degree

have a min 3 years of experience in fast paced warehouse environment in packing / parcel shipping role (must)

have hands-on experience with computer systems (must)

be able to stand for most of the shift and be able to lift min 60#’s (must)

have good math and communication skills

possess ability to learn additional skills

have hands-on experience with UPS / FedEx freight parcel systems (a plus)
