Machine Operator - first shift

Due to growth, we are seeking an additional Machine Operator to join our small family-oriented business. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a factory setting and operating various machinery to cut and customize size/dimensions of package products. Willing to train the right candidate with some warehousing, machining experience. Salary is flexible/competitive and depends on experience.

Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain cutting machines

- Conduct quality control checks on finished products

- Assist in packaging items according to specifications

- Follow safety protocols at all times

- Cross-train on multiple machines, warehousing, forklift

Skills

- Proficient in basic math for measurements and calculations

- Ability to read and understand purchase orders

- Experience with using different machinery is a plus

- Knowledge of quality control procedures

- Familiarity with warehousing and fork lift a plus

- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

- Desire to learn, dependable, and punctual are key success factors.

- Communication in English or Spanish (bilingual).

- On the job training, bonuses, annual reviews, paid overtime is available, 15 PTO days, 8 holidays.
