Balemaster, a division of Kadant, is a well-established manufacturer of industrial balers and shredders located in Crown Point, IN. We have the following position available:

Maintenance Technician 2

Requirements

-Aid in the repair of machinery

-Work on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

-Safely utilize hand and power tools

-Capable of working with others as well as independently

-Operate a forklift and overhead crane

-Ability to work at various heights

-Ability to use an electrical test meter.

-Ensure that all procedures are followed and documented as required

Physical Requirements

Heavy industrial environment with mechanical activities requiring personal protective equipment.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

-Stand for extended periods of time

-Sit, Stoop, Bend

-Reach above shoulders

-Lift 50 pounds

Pay Rate & Schedule

-Pay rate is based on experience and skill level

-Full-time

-Monday - Friday, Overtime if necessary
