Blow Molding Technician - 2nd and 3rd Shift

Join our client, a successful and growing plastics manufacturer in Batavia, IL, as a Level II or III Process Manufacturing Technician! Oversee the operation of multiple injection and blow molding machines, ensuring optimization of machine and labor utilization while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain injection and blow molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment.

Collaborate with team members to address quality, safety, and productivity concerns.

Optimize machine and labor utilization with molding labor leadership.

Recommend improvements to production methods and equipment performance.

Train material handlers and stay updated on industry technology and materials.

Perform minor maintenance and assist with job setups as needed.

Adhere to safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in pneumatics, hydraulics, or plastic processing preferred.

3-5 years of experience in injection or blow molding.

Knowledge of process control, mechanical principles, and tool equipment.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Basic computer proficiency for data entry and learning new software.
