An International Machinery Company is looking for help in the shipping and inventory department.

We are looking for a full time position shipping and inventory manager. Duties include maintain our parts inventory, quoting and take customer purchase orders for parts, prepare order confirmation, packing and ship with UPS, FedEx or with trucking companies for larger parts. Receive parts shipment from the factory and sort out ship ready parts / inventory parts. Prepare return shipment to factory with used spare parts. Maintain control of ordered shipments, traffic of shipments making sure delivery expectations are met. The position requires working with Peachtree and customized software programs. We deal internationally with Europe, Mexico and Canada, international shipping occurs frequently. The manager is responsible for year-end inventory as well as inventory adjustments. Some knowledge of machinery is helpful. Answer phone calls backing up office manager is part of the responsibilities.
