Bilingual Mechanical Engineer (Chinese/English)

Position Overview:

As a Bilingual Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging communication gaps between our Chinese-speaking clients and our engineering team. Your expertise in mechanical engineering combined with your linguistic skills will ensure seamless collaboration and understanding throughout the project lifecycle. From conceptual design to implementation, you will be instrumental in delivering innovative solutions that exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

Act as a primary point of contact for Chinese-speaking clients, facilitating effective communication and understanding of project requirements.

Translate technical documentation, specifications, and correspondence between Chinese and English to ensure clarity and accuracy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop mechanical solutions tailored to client needs, providing valuable insights and expertise.

Conduct research and analysis to support the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and processes.

Perform feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to validate design concepts and optimize performance.

Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation in both Chinese and English for internal and external stakeholders.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

Proven experience in mechanical design, analysis, and problem-solving, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies.

Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks, ANSYS, MATLAB) for design and analysis.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and innovative thinking to overcome technical challenges.

Previous experience working with Chinese-speaking clients or in a multicultural environment is a plus.
