QA Engineer

General Description: Responsible for product testing to validate product performance, identify issues, and ensure systems meet quality and reliability standards. This role is a QA Engineer with experience in Android testing, specifically focused on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth validation.- Starting compensation is based on experience.

- Must Already be in Chicago, IL or willing to relocate at own costPrimary Responsibilities/Tasks:Execute test plans and test cases for Android-based devices with a focus on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionalityPerform functional, regression, and performance testing on wireless connectivity featuresValidate Wi-Fi protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and Bluetooth standards (BLE, Classic)Conduct interoperability testing with routers, access points, headsets, wearables, and other connected devicesAnalyze logs using tools such as ADB, Wireshark, and Android logcat to identify and troubleshoot issuesReproduce, document, and track defects through resolution in bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)Collaborate with developers, product managers, and hardware teams to ensure high-quality releases
