Job DescriptionLocation: Chicago, ILHospital: RUSH University Medical CenterDepartment: Diagnostic RadiologyWork Type: Full Time (Total FTE between 0.9 and 1.0)Shift: Shift 1Work Schedule: 8 Hr (8:00:00 AM - 4:00:00 PM)Summary:The IR Research Associate will be involved in all Vascular and Interventional Research Projects covered by the Service Line. Will create ideas and collaborate with faculty for prospective or outcome based retrospective research as well as work as a coordinator in department, industry or NIH sponsored clinical trials. As part of the process the research associate will also interact and teach IR/DR residents and medical students and collaborate with them in their own projects.He will be expected to mentor 1-2 medical students every 6 months duration. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.Other information:Required Job Qualifications:M.D. with expertise in artificial intelligence research involving IR / DRAbility to work for 8 hours daily in hospital and ambulatory clinic and computer based setting.Responsibilities:Mentoring medical studentsScreening, consenting and data entry for clinical trialsIdeas on Artificial Intelligence applications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and work on projects that would amplify AI applications in the field.Data collection on retrospective outcome based researchStatistical analysis of dataPrepare abstracts and manuscriptsGrant writingRush is an equal opportunity employer.
