DescriptionSargent & Lundy provides comprehensive consulting, engineering, design, and analysis for electric power generation and power delivery projects worldwide. With a highly professional and experienced staff solely dedicated to the energy business, we have the ability and know-how to take on the smallest tasks as well as the largest projects. We are seeking a corporate interior space planner in our facilities team who will aid in the implementation of our company interior furniture buildouts and space planning activities. Responsibilities:

Update and maintain our Chicago and regional offices floor plan furniture as-builts, convert space plan and construction drawings to as-built floor plans in AutoCAD, assist with uploading and linking space identifiers into the facility management software.

Create space plan test fits for proposed office space including new, expansion and renovations.

Maintain as-built documentation, warranties of finish material selections installed.

Assist with design, space planning, finish and furniture selections, review of furniture vendor specification drawings.

Assist with design presentations to company stakeholders as needed.

Assist with furniture orders reviewing shop drawings for approval and review orders for accuracy.

QualificationsWe do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position. Qualifications:

Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Design, or related equivalent with four (4) or more years of experience in corporate interior design.

Exhibit strong knowledge of office furniture systems such as Steelcase, Hayworth.

Specify products.

Oversee installations and resolve conflicts during installation.

Exhibit excellent office space planning skills.

Work as a detail-oriented team player in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Work fluently in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Bluebeam, and Photoshop or Sketchup a plus.

Complete heavy workload within established time frames.
