About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist within the Commercial Capital (WFCC) Control team. This role is aligned to the Equipment Finance and Commercial Auto Control team and will be a direct report to the team's Control Director. In partnership with other Wells Fargo Equipment Finance (WFEF) and Commercial Auto team members. The responsibilities of this role will include risk identification and assessment, control and issue management, control design and evaluation, control reporting and governance, and other control programs. In addition, this role also includes designing controls in partnership with business owners, including effectiveness measures, implementation support, validation of effectiveness post implementation; and controls evaluation based on defined triggers.In this role, you will:

Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area

Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls

Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies

Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area

Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk

Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations

Required Qualifications, US:

4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of issue management policy

Experience determining the root cause of identified issues

Risk and regulatory compliance experience

Ability to proactively manage and mitigate issues

Regulatory Control knowledge across enterprise risk management framework, including: risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance

Knowledge and experience with Risk Control Self Assessment activities

Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

Strong interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.

The ability to effectively manage and build relationships within the business and partners aligned to all levels of the Control organization
