The Opportunity Four Corners is seeking an HR & Payroll Coordinator to join our team! The HR & Payroll Coordinator will provide general support for HR initiatives, assist with all payroll functions, have excellent attention to detail, and enjoy a fast-paced, fun, and dynamic environment. Responsibilities
Responsible for the accurate processing of payroll for 900+ employees
Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
Enter personnel changes into Paylocity including but not limited to new hires, terminations, transfers, pay changes, address updates, etc.
Maintain export ID's within each location's POS system
Responsible for manual export, load, and balancing of hours from the POS timekeeping system into Paylocity
Receive, respond to, and process wage assignments, court-ordered garnishments, tax levies, and bankruptcies
Work with appropriate managers to resolve issues and correct discrepancies in pay and related payroll systems/records
Support with audits, analysis reports, and special projects
Deliver instruction/training to employees regarding the use of the payroll-related system (Paylocity), accessing pay statements, etc.
Provide professional and prompt assistance to employees with payroll & policy questions
Assist with ACA compliance including Paylocity maintenance, full-time equivalent communication, and enrollment
Respond to all employment verification requests and unemployment claims
Submit monthly Department of Labor (DOL) reporting for applicable locations
Assist in screening and interviewing applicants for vacant positions
Monitor Paid Time Off (PTO) usage in Paylocity
Assist with the processing of new hires via Paylocity's electronic onboarding portal and ensure all documents are kept up to date and remain compliant
Maintain Employee data in Paylocity, ensure it is accurate, workflow actions are completed where required, resolve system issues as necessary and drive employees to use the system to its maximum potential
Prepare payroll process reports for accounting
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in HR or a related field
1+ years of professional payroll processing experience (Paylocity experience preferred)
Proficient in Excel
HRIS knowledge (Paylocity)
Knowledge of applicable state, federal, and local employment labor laws and regulations
Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and strict confidentiality
Must be highly detail-oriented with effective time management skills
Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills
Bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus
