TITLE: System Administrator

Location: Chicago, IL

Compensation Range: $50 to $60/hr.

The System Administrator will be working with a collaborative not-for-profit organization in the downtown Chicago area. This organization promotes leadership, excellence, and innovation in addressing local and global regulatory and healthcare challenges through strategic alliances and partnership with its members and other organizations, both public and private.

What You'll Do:

Provides provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software, network and related Infrastructure and leads the installation and administration of such systems and services including testing, documentation, and preventative maintenance. Optimize Cloud buildouts for cost/performance.
Participates in the purchase of systems hardware and software, network and related Infrastructure, including voice and video communications systems and services. Works in conjunction with vendors to provide timely and efficient solutions/support to achieve our client's IT goals.
Mentors and provides escalation technical support to all infrastructure support staff as well as other Information Resource colleagues. Supports and leads team activities including the identification, coordination, and implementation of department priorities, tasks, and projects. Delegates infrastructure tasks to team members accounting for workload and priorities.

Skills / Experience You Will Need:

Microsoft Operating System, Microsoft 365 (including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Defender)
Microsoft Azure (including networking, NSGs, Route Tables, Virtual Machines, Application Gateways, Load Balancers, WAF, Site-to-Site VPNs, Azure Active Directory), MDM Solutions (JAMF and Intune)
Disaster Recovery, VMware Virtualization, Nimble administration, Veeam Backup and Replication
