Job Description: Digital Content Project Specialist

Apex Systems, the Nation's 2nd largest Technical Staffing and Services Firm, has an opening for Digital Content Project Specialist for a Large Hospitality company in Chicago for a 12-month contract plus extensions and ability to convert to full time employment.

PURPOSE:The Digital Content Project Manager will oversee a dedicated team for a hotel website content migration project. The project manager will be responsible for allocating work to direct reports, working with multiple stakeholders, maintaining status records and adhering to established deadlines. The role includes ensuring adherence to brand standards and strong content while consistently maintaining SEO best practices. This individual will report to the Manager, Digital Content Operations, and will support the hotel properties involved in the migration.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:• Maintaining schedule for projects deadlines• Meeting with stakeholders• Producing status reports• Setting day-to-day website content workflows and task for direct reports• Building hotel property websites on new platform• Ensuring adherence to brand standards for all requests and project• Creating strong content while maintaining SEO best practicesEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:• 2-5 years business/digital experience• 1-3 years of people management• Experience in project management• CMS experience (Adobe AEM preferred)• Usability or conversion enhancement knowledge• Knowledge of programming languages, such as hypertext markup language (HTML)PREFERRED SKILLS:EDUCATION:• Bachelor's Degree (English, Journalism, Communications or related major preferred)
