Seasonal Tax Preparer

Western Suburbs CPA firm seeking an experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer. The position will be working 20-35 hours per week during our peak season (mid-January through mid-April). Flexible schedule with nights and weekends available. This is an in-office role.

Position Requirements:

- Prepare medium to complex federal and multi-state income tax returns.

- 3 + years of tax preparation experience required

- Strong attention to detail

- Works well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment

- Bachelor’s degree required

- Masters in Taxation, Enrolled Agent, or CPA certification is a plus

- Experience with Lacerte Software is a plus

- Comfortable working in a paperless environment

Compensation based on experience. Wage requirements are required for consideration of this position.
