Diesel Mechanic

So-Ida Commodities is seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to repair and maintain hay trucks, trailers and loading equipment in a shop environment.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Inspecting/testing equipment for proper performance before and after repairs

Identifying and diagnosing minor mechanical/electrical and hydraulic system malfunctions and performing required repairs to resolve such issues

Knowledgeable and able to perform basic maintenance on Cummins,CAT and Detroit engines

Develop and maintain positive relationships with other employees and equipment operators

Be mindful of shop inventory and orders

Various tasks such as: wheel seals, tires, brakes, lights, and scheduled maintenence

This is a full-time position

Monday through Friday

COMPENSATION(hourly) will depend on your qualifications and experience. You may be subject to a probationary period.
