Automotive Technician / Mechanic

We are a busy independently owned repair shop looking for an experienced Auto Technician / Mechanic who is ready to work. We are a “customer first" shop that builds trust with our clientele the old fashioned way, by treating all people with respect and integrity. We are not a flat rate shop, and are certainly not up sellers. We believe in the "fix what's wrong and fix it right" mentality.

As an Auto Technician with us your responsibilities will include

- Inspect and test vehicles to identify necessary and applicable repairs

- Test-drive vehicles, and test components / systems, using diagnostic tools and equipment

- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, electrical, steering, brakes, heating, air conditioning, etc

- Communicate directly with the service writer or manager so that customers are informed of any services needed

- Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance to our standards

- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for all maintenance and repairs

You will need to following qualifications to be considered part of our team

- ASE certification a plus but not required

- At least B level qualifications and experience

- Mechanical / troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies

- Positive, friendly attitude, and good work ethic

- Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively

- You must have your own tools.

- Valid driver's license and pass MVR

We have an hourly pay plan with incentives that reward performance. No weekends. M-F day shift. Benefits include paid vacation, paid holiday and paid PTO time.
