lab support / Network Technician - Onsite Job

Global Labs SupportESD compliance• Take measurements on common lab items• Print out label and attach to items• Enter item name into software database• Perform simple repairs – clean wheels, ensure ground wire is attached, etc.• If extensive repairs are required, work with appropriate group to resolve6S – Lab Organization• Label drawers in storage cabinets• Check items in storage to verify they are in the proper location• Attach identification stickers to new items and enter new items into a database• Organize cabinets• Organize tool wiring by bundling cables for ease of maintenance. • Verify tools have the proper labels and identifications numbers and verify against a database• If tools are not in the database or information is missing, data entry will be required to fill out missing items.• Install signage around the labsPhysical moving lab equipment• Move small equipment items around the lab for accessibility by engineering teams • Restock small lab equipment• Pack and ship items that need to be sent out for repair or calibration• Generate shipping paperwork utilizing Client systems • Generate purchasing order for items based on given criteriaRequirements• Preferred Associates Degree or equivalent experience in technical field• Ability to lift 50 lbs• Active position requires extensive walking in labs/buildings• Able to follow procedures/SOP• Organization skills highly desired• Ability to work independently• Ability to interface with Client software solutions• Verbal/written communications skills to enable customer satisfaction• The ability to collaborate well with team members• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
